What is MagSafe ?
Since the iPhone 8 came out in 2017, Apple has added a wireless charging function within all iPhone models, which is close to the way that other phones are used for wireless charging, placed on the wireless charger, then starts charging.

1. How MagSafe magnetic charging work?
As you can see from the iPhone 12 perspective, the MagSafe magnetic charging system components structure, a unique wire-wound coil to withstand greater receiving power, capture magnetic flux through the nano-crystal panel, and an improved shield to receive wireless fast charging more safely. Besides MagSafe magnetic charging, the iPhone 12 series still supports the widely used Qi wireless charging with a maximum power of 7.5W.
People who need faster charging can use the original MagSafe charger, while they can continue to use the widely circulated Qi wireless chargers in the market as well.
- The different charging experience for MagSafe
MagSafe magnetic charger uses a major difference in appearance compared to the traditional charger. It is a bit like the APPLE WATCH magnetic charger, the metal shell is flat and round, comes with a power supply cable, small and lightweight.
